GNS : Oscar-nominated actress Margot Robi will reportedly appear in ‘Barbie’. This Mattel feature film is based on the global level popular Barbie doll Doll. The ‘Suicide Squad’ actress will also produce the film through her production banner Lakki Chep.
The film was Sony’s earlier project, but later Mattel withdrew its rights. It is currently unknown that Mattel is stuck on the original scripts, in which Amy Shummer was about to play the lead, although due to the timing, he got out of the project. The original script had a tone of adult comedy. Dollar is a global brand, which has sold more than $ 3 billion worldwide.
