Mumbai: After several controversies, Kangana Ranaut’s popular film “Manikarnika: The Queen of Jhansi” has been released in theaters on January 25. The movie is doing well at the box office. This movie had a business of 8.75 crores on the first day. On the Republic Day i.e. Saturday, the film got a big boost. The film grossed 18.10 million. on Sunday, there was a decline in Manikarnika’s earnings. the film has crossed the 50 crores figure. If the estimates are added then the Manikarnika collection has reached 55 crores in four days. The film is doing well in Delhi, NCR, UP, Rajasthan and Punjab. This is Kangana’s biggest opener film. The film has also been released in Telugu and Telugu languages besides Hindi.
Manikarnika has also earned 11.03 crores in the international market. There have been many controversies about the film. Earlier the Army had opposed the film. Now the film’s co-director Kris has opened a front against Kangana and has made several allegations. the film is directed by Kangana and Krrish together. Kangna played the role of Rani Laxmibai of Jhansi in the film. The film has been released on over 3,000 screens in India. The budget of the film is being told between 100-125 crores.
Manikarnika is getting tough competition from Nawazuddin Siddiqui’s “Thackeray” and Vicky Kaushal’s Uri: The Surgical Strike at the box office. The film now has a business of Rs 22.90 crore. Thackeray’s budget is being told more than 200 million. It has been released at approximately 1300 screens in Marathi and Hindi. In the film, Nawazuddin played the role of Shiv Sena founder Bal Thackeray.
