Bokaro: Bokaro boy bagged the first position in the Grand Finale of ‘Mini Ganga Quest’ organized by National Mission for Clean Ganga (NMCG), an authority under the Government of India which implements ‘Namami Gange’ programme and TREE Craze Foundation (TCF), a non-profitable organization committed to Ganga, Rivers and Environment.
The quest was held online from 1 to 3 November 2020.
Rishi Divya Kirti, a student of DPS Bokaro was the only participant from the east zone to make it to the finals. Kirti, a student of class XI, battled his brain with over ten thousand students across the country to reach the finals.
For winning the quest Kirti was awarded a cash prize of Rs.15000 along with a knowledge kit and certificate.
Ganga Quest is a national bilingual (Hindi and English) online quiz on Ganga and anyone above 10 years of age can participate in the quiz. Kirti stood first in Grade III for students of classes XI and XII.
Principal, DPS Bokaro, A. S. Gangwar congratulated Rishi Divya Kirti for his extraordinary performance. He stressed that more students should participate in such competitions.
