Bokaro: Sumit Gorai, a Science Teacher of Delhi Public School Bokaro, received the “Best Science Teacher Award” conferred by the Jharkhand Chapter of NASI. The ceremony was organized prior to National Science Day. Gorai was awarded to acknowledge his efforts and contributions as a science teacher in the school. He is one among three teachers from Jharkhand to receive the award.
The Jharkhand Chapter of NASI instituted Best Science Teacher Award in 2017 to recognize the contributions of Science Teachers in cultivating the interest for science in young brains and motivating them to have a scientific temperament,

He said that such awards motivate all teachers to passionately participate in the teaching-learning process which in turn enhances the students’ interest and motivates them to have an inquisitive and scientific mind
