DPS Chas organises educational webinar

RNS I Bokaro: With the firm belief to make a difference in the lives of the young generation by redefining thinking and reaffirming creative educational perspective, the two days webinar on the topic ‘Seven Steps to Online Teaching and Art Integration’ concluded today at DPS Chas.

The key resource person of the webinar was nationally acclaimed renowned educationist Mukesh Shelat, Principal of DPS Varanasi. It is worth mentioning that he is a passionate educator with over 25 years of experience.

Almost the entire teaching staff participated in the webinar who posed relevant questions on present-day teachings and its challenges.

Speaking on the occasion, Mukesh Shelat stressed on quality education and quality teaching during this pandemic period asking teachers to adopt innovative ways to provide the best education to the students.

Dr. Hemlata S Mohan, Chief Mentor, DPS Chas, said that the ultimate purpose of all education is to make learning an enjoyable experience. For the accomplishment of such kind of vision, teachers should accept innovative approaches in their methodology of imparting knowledge adding to their expertise. It is very important to stick to the purpose of engaging students in such a manner that they can opt for high-level thinking and develop an understanding to review and reflect upon the knowledge gained and imbibe it in life.

Principal, P Shailaja Jayakumar thanked all the participant teachers for such encouraging participation and motivated everyone to keep the zeal high to ensure ‘Education is the true manifestation of the inner potentials in a learner.’
