Bokaro. Paying rich tribute to Mother Earth DPS Chas convened a special assembly at school campus on the occasion of ‘Mother Earth Day’. ‘Say no to plastic’, ‘save soil’, ‘save earth’, ‘save plant and trees’ were some of the teachings given to students on this occasion.
The assembly started with a song of ‘Gratitude towards Mother Earth’dedicated to ‘Swachch Bharat’ by the choir group followed by a thought and slogans imbuing the essential values of concern for our beautiful planet.
In the primary section, the tiny tots performed a number of activities related to Earth Day. They were very enthusiast as they brought slogans and banner in their hand. They also lent their helping hands by writing sloagans and making posters for mother earth. Later on the students of class I went to the junior section i.e., nursery and made them aware about Earth Day.
In a bid to inculcate awareness the Officiating Principal of DPS Chas, Deepali Bhuskute laid stress on avoiding the usage of plastic. “As being a true citizen of India we should take the responsibility of a healthy, clean and green environment”, said Bhuskute.
She also added that students should come forward to help the community and spread the message of cleanliness to everyone.
