No stone will be left unturned to make Chandrapura happy: Pandey

RNS: A three-day yoga camp concluded on Saturday at the Football Ground, Chandrapura. The camp was organized by the management of Chandrapura Thermal Power Station (CTPS), a unit of Damodar Valley Corporation (DVC) and its Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) Department.

Chief Engineer and Head of the project of CTPS, Sunil Kumar Pandey and Arvind Kumar Sinha presented shawls and mementoes to retired NTPC executives B. N. Shah, C. P. Singh, Dr. Shrimant Sahu, R.K. Aneja, and others.

Speaking on occasion, Pandey said that every feasible effort would be made to bring a smile to the faces of the people in Chandrapura and its peripheral areas. “DVC will continue to participate in activities that contribute to the economic growth of this region,” he added.

“DVC has done a lot of development work in this field and is determined to work in the health sector as well, said B. N. Shah adding, “DVC is committed to working.”

Renowned physician, international motivator, yoga meditation training and diabetes specialist Dr. Shrimant Sahu encouraged individuals to maintain their health by practising yoga on a daily basis. Spending significant life earnings on healthcare and hospitalisation should be avoided. “Practicing yoga regularly is critical to living a long, fulfilling life. To maintain their wellness, each individual should do yoga every day,” he added.

Dr. Sahu of Shiv Shakti Avatar Seva Sansthan Raipur gave yoga training to the DVC personnel, CISF personnel, and local people present there. Through the practice of ‘walking yoga’ and ‘musical exercise’, he instilled the importance of maintaining a healthy lifestyle among those present there.

Over hundreds of people participated in the yoga program. The participants of Yoga appealed to the DVC Management and Instructor Dr. Srimant Sahu to make more people aware of Yoga in Chandrapura.

Besides others, Arvind Kumar Sinha, Senior Divisional Engineer, in-charge of CSR, Pramod Kumar Jha, were also present on the occasion.
