RNS: International Women’s Day program organized at the Officer’s Club of Damodar Valley Corporation, Chandrapura Thermal Power Station (CTPS) concluded on a thumping note.
Women took part in several competitions during the program, such as the dance competition, the candle competition, the musical chair competition, and others, and they enjoyed themselves thoroughly. Sunil Kumar Pandey, Chief Engineer and Head of the Project, and Bandana Pandey inaugurated the program by lighting the lamp.
Bandana Pandey, who was the guest of honour at this event, urged the women in attendance to maintain their solidarity and strive toward the betterment of society and the nation.
Speaking on the occasion, Sunil Kumar Pandey emphasized that the strength of women should not be underestimated. Women’s power has been the solution to every problem that has ever plagued a society or a nation by putting an end to such problems via active resistance.
“Educating women increases the likelihood that their families, communities, and even nations will do the same. Therefore, we need to publicly affirm the idea that women should always be aware of their strength,” added Pandey.
“Women have strength on par with Hanumanji. The only things needed are recognition of that power and action,” he said.
On this eve the administration of the CTPS DVC club made arrangements for ladies to have their health checked and for the club to have delectable cuisine.
