RNS: DVC is making progress toward its lofty goal amidst facing challenges. We will undoubtedly meet the target of generating 15000 MW of power in the near future, said Sanjay Kumar Ghosh, Executive Director, DVC.
He was addressing the ‘Vendor’s Meet’ organized by Chandrapura Thermal Power Station (CTPS), a unit of Damodar Valley Corporation (DVC).
DVC’s Executive Director (Operation) Sanjay Kumar Ghosh, Chief Engineer and Project Head Sunil Kumar Pandey, Director of Training Institute Subroto Mandal, and Chief Engineers Devbrata Das, Pawan Kumar Mishra, PC Sahu, and Prabhakar Jena lit the lamp to kick off the program.
Speaking on the occasion, Ghosh stated that DVC is moving forward with the cooperation of all to reach new heights, and the vendor’s role is vital in this.
“The Government of India and other constitutional bodies recently recognized DVC for its excellent work. If everyone’s cooperation is received, DVC will be ranked as one of India’s top power-producing institutions,” he added.
He urged the officials and vendors to collaborate.
He stated that in the coming days, the entire DVC work would be done through the Gem portal, and every rule and law of the government would be followed in accordance with the time, for which we should all prepare.
During the ceremony, Sunil Kumar Pandey, DVC’s Chief Engineer and Project Head, said that the company is willing to follow any legal procedure but that everyone involved is needed to make it happen. “Meanwhile, vendor’s roles are crucial in developing DVC,” he added.
Chief Engineer Devbrat Das, PK Mishra, PC Sahu, Prabhakar Jena, and others spoke at the event. Shalini Gupta and Sujata Kumari presided over the event.
Over hundreds of vendors attended the meet, besides Vidyanand Nandkuliyar, BK Singh, Pramod Kumar Jha, Prafulla Bhandari, Vinod Dubey, Praveen Kumar Singh, Runa Rai, Mohammad Jamal, Avinash Kumar Yadav and others.
