World’s First ‘Sex Championship’ to begin tomorrow in Sweden

RNS: Sweden is the first nation to officially name ‘sex’ as a ‘sport’. The first European Sex Championship will be held by the Swedish Sex Federation in Gothenburg on 8 June.

The contest will last six weeks under the supervision of the Swedish Sex Federation. According to news sources, participants will be involved in 16 different sexual activities such as seduction, oral sex, penetration, endurance, body massages, foreplay, and exploring erotic zones.

Participants will compete for about six hours throughout the six-week tournament. Every day, they will participate in sexual activities for between 45 minutes to an hour, depending on how long the matches last.

The competition organiser stated that including sexual orientation as part of sports, strategies will be a big step forward for European nations.

Dragan Bratych, the president of the Swedish Sex Federation, said it was inevitable to recognise sex as sport and physical training is required for the competition. “Just like any other sport, achieving desired results in sex requires training. Therefore, it is only logical for people to start competing in this domain as well,” Bratych said, according to a report by Times of India.

Media reports also suggest that the audience will play a part in deciding the results of the sex competitions and they will pay attention to different aspects of the sexual activity. The winners will be determined based on factors like the chemistry between the couple, their knowledge about sex, and their endurance level.

According to the reports, people from around twenty different countries have applied to participate in this event.

Contestants will compete in 16 different sexual activities (including many things from seduction to body massage) and participants can score between 5 to 10 marks in each activity.

Both the judge and the audience will determine the competition’s winner. The judge’s votes will make up 30% of the total, while the audience will contribute the remaining 70%. These votes from the judge and the audience will be added up first before the winner is announced.
