RNS: With an objective to search talented swimmers (boys and girls), a selection trial at the District level will be held at DPS Bokaro on 18th June from 6 AM, said Dr A.S. Gangwar, President, Bokaro District Swimming Association and Principal, DPS Bokaro.
The selection trial will be held in Sub-Junior, Junior and Senior Group categories starting with the age group of 9 years, for which the participants have been asked to come and furnish their Identity and Address proof.
The selection trial is open to all, including all schools, clubs and even rural areas of the district. The cadets will be selected in six events, including freestyle, backstroke, breaststroke, butterfly stroke, freestyle relay and medley race, informed Dr Gangwar.
Those selected in Senior groups will participate in the 13th State Swimming Championship on 23rd June at Jamshedpur, while those selected in Junior and Sub-Junior groups will get an opportunity to participate in the state-level Swimming Championship, which has been organised at Khelgaon (Ranchi) on 8-9 July.
