RNS: DPS Bokaro commemorated its 37th Foundation Day on July 2, 2023, with passion and tradition. Students, parents, and alumni enjoyed the festivities. Chief Guest was 1992 alumnus Shri Vinay Kumar Chaubey, IAS, Secretary to Jharkhand Chief Minister. Guests of honour were Kuldeep Chaudhary, IAS, Deputy Commissioner, Bokaro and Rajan Prasad, ED (P&A), Pro Vice Chairman, Managing Committee, DPS Bokaro. Preeti Sharan graced the function.
The school’s “Go Green” seedling presentation started the program. Lighting the ceremonial lamp followed. After the cake-cutting, 100% of the attendance, pupils were honoured. Regular students received 400 awards. AISSCE and AISSE 2023 toppers and CBSE subject toppers were honoured.
Following the institution’s motto, “Service Before Self,” Deepansh Shiksha Kendra, a DPS Bokaro school for marginalized children, received uniforms.
A cultural spectacle displayed the school’s devotion to talent and creativity. Balloons adorned the stage and venue. The students’ lovely music and compelling dance performances on Ganesh Vandana, Fusion, and Raag Megh delighted the audience. The quarterly magazine ‘Zenith’ was released.
The festival was a success, highlighting the school’s rich tradition and holistic growth approach. The occasion reaffirmed commitment to quality education and student development.
School is important, said Chief Guest Shri Vinay Kumar Chaubey, IAS, Secretary to Chief Minister (Jharkhand). He claimed school teaches punctuality, teamwork, and friendship. He stated that no adversity can defeat us when we are together as a society, community, and nation. He stressed constructive competition for individual accomplishment. He recalled that academically, DPS Bokaro is unmatched. He said happiness is more essential than intellectual accomplishment.
The Guest of Honour, Rajan Prasad, ED (P&A), Pro Vice Chairman, Managing Committee, DPS Bokaro, said DPS Bokaro is vital to the nation’s academic success. The school’s noteworthy alumni are proof of its three-decade heritage of great education.
Dr A. S. Gangwar, DPS Bokaro Principal, spoke on instilling principles in kids to promote academic performance, cultural enrichment, and holistic growth. He said that the school’s community ties had solidified its status as a top school. He said DPS Bokaro hopes to set new standards.
