DVC will continue to play a significant role in rural revitalization efforts: Pandey

Chandrapura: A Smart Class was inaugurated at Shishu Vidya Mandir Telo under the CSR initiative of Chandrapura Thermal Power Station (CTPS)— a unit of Damodar Valley Corporation (DVC) on Thursday.

Sunil Kumar Pandey, Senior General Manager and Project Head of CTPS, inaugurated the smart class. A lively programme was also planned, with the Sanskrit verses attracting the most significant attention on the occasion.

Speaking on the eve, Pandey said, DVC will never back down from its social responsibilities. Our Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) department is working hard to assist the communities in their development.

On the eve, Pandey thanked the deserving kids by providing them with mementoes and appreciation certificates. Notably, nine Saraswati Shishu Vidya Mandir, Telo pupils were among the top 10 in the district in a recent exam. Deputy Commissioner Bokaro also acknowledged them.

“We are working on establishing more smart classes in schools in the near future,” stated Manager, CSR.

Ajay Mahato and Prafulla Bhandari, both Zila Parishad members, were also present.
