DPS Chas holds PTM to review school behaviour, child’s academic performance

RNS: A parent-teacher meeting (PTM) was held at DPS Chas on Saturday to enable effective communication and collaboration and display the school’s commitment to student improvement. In the PTM, parents learnt more about their child’s academic performance and school behaviour.

On campus, educators, parents, and students from Pre-Nursery to Grades IX and XI discussed academic achievement and overall development.

Discussions focused on peer learning and support courses to improve students’ education. The teachers stressed the need for a well-rounded education and advised on how to develop academic curiosity outside of class.

Parents collaborated with teachers to clarify curriculum and classroom activities, recognizing the PTM’s value. They wanted assistance in supporting their child’s development and academic growth. Educators and parents worked together to maximize student potential.

Dr Hemlata S. Mohan, Chief Mentor of DPS Chas, encouraged students by highlighting the benefits of hard work and dedication. “Push yourself, and you will achieve great things,” she told the youth, encouraging them to excel.

DPS Officiating Principal Chas Bokaro agreed that parents are crucial to a child’s achievement, especially under tough situations. Their support, especially in the early years, helps a child grow and succeed.
