TEXMiN Foundation, Carlson Software Inc. collaborate to set up Lab at IIT-ISM

RNS: TEXMiN (Technology Innovation in Exploration & Mining) Foundation –Technology Innovation Hub of IIT (ISM) Dhanbad has partnered with Carlson Software Inc., to set up a world-class lab in India which will provide technology support to Industry and prepare a workforce of the future, specific to mapping, monitoring, and surveying in mines and allied industries.

As a technology and solution partner, Carlson will provide learning through its state-of-the-art hardware & software to support the industrial and startup ecosystem with a focus on mapping, monitoring, and surveying showcasing, informed Rajni Singh, Dean, Media & Branding of ISM.

With the advent of precise and high-speed instruments available in the present time, surveying technology has undergone revolutionary changes. With the innovations in tools and technologies leading to mass and rapid production from the mine, the job or surveyors has increased manifold.

This can only be achieved by accelerating the advanced practices in mine surveying technology. This partnership will empower professionals with unique learning opportunities, preparing them for this fast-paced industry, delivering a single source to unlock the capabilities of complete mapping, monitoring and mine surveying – experiencing the new reality of safe, smart and sustainable mining.
