Dhanbad: The opening day of Concetto’23, the prestigious three-day techno-management fest hosted by the Indian Institute of Technology (Indian School of Mines), saw an enthusiastic participation of over 100 institutes. The event featured a plethora of technical competitions and a captivating couch discussion session with renowned civil services interview guru, Vijender Chauhan.
The event, held at the illustrious IIT (ISM) campus, offered a platform for tech enthusiasts to showcase their skills through a wide range of competitions. These included the challenging Galactic Logic Circuit Challenge, the innovative Electro Design Battle, the thrill-packed Lazer Maze, the intriguing Survival of Chemist, and the adrenaline-pumping Paint Ball and Zorbing.
Additionally, there were competitions like Trailblaize, MathBee, and Galactic Maze Maverick that tested participants’ problem-solving abilities and creativity.
However, the highlight of the day was the engaging couch discussion led by Vijender Chauhan, an Associate Professor of Hindi at Zakir Hussain College, Delhi University, and a respected mentor for civil services exam aspirants. Chauhan shared invaluable insights into the world of civil services interview preparation, offering strategies and tips to the eager audience.
During the discussion, Chauhan emphasized the significance of thorough research into one’s hobbies, extracurricular activities, and related achievements. He urged aspiring civil servants to stay informed about national and international developments connected to their interests, highlighting the importance of staying current in today’s dynamic world.
