Navratri Celebrations— Tiny tots mesmerise with Cultural Extravaganza

Bokaro : In a vibrant celebration of Navratri, the auspicious festival dedicated to Goddess Durga, Delhi Public School (DPS) Bokaro hosted a spectacular assembly that left the audience spellbound. The event, held today, showcased the immense talent of students from Classes III to V, who delivered mesmerizing performances of bhajans, Garba, and Dandiya dances while highlighting the profound significance of ‘Shakti’ and the legendary tale of Mahishasur Vadh.

The young participants took center stage, bedecked in resplendent costumes, and their expressions reflected the devotion and enthusiasm they poured into their performances. Their captivating renditions included soul-stirring songs such as ‘Aigiri Nandini Nanditamedini Vishwavinodini Nandinute…’, ‘Ambe Charan Kamal Hain Tere…’, Durga Amrit Vani, and an array of other devotional compositions. The presentation revolving around the nine divine forms of Goddess Durga garnered widespread acclaim for its artistic excellence and spiritual resonance.

Dr. A. S. Gangwar, the Principal of DPS Bokaro, conveyed his heartfelt greetings on this festive occasion and underscored the paramount importance of preserving India’s rich cultural heritage and age-old traditions. He stressed that events like these serve as nurturing grounds for the latent talents of children, reiterating the school’s unwavering commitment to the holistic development of its students. The assembly concluded on a patriotic note with the singing of the School Song and the National Anthem.
