RNS: Aiming to enhance industry-institute interaction and foster valuable partnerships, the Indian Institute of Technology-Indian School of Mines (IIT-ISM), Dhanbad, has formalized a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Voyants Solutions Private Limited (VSPL), India’s rapidly growing premier infrastructure consultancy services provider with a global footprint.
Professor Sagar Pal, the Dean of Research and Development at IIT-ISM, and Rajkumar Singh, the Head of Environment Management Services at Voyants Solutions Private Limited, signed the Memorandum of Understanding today.
Professor JK Pattanayak was present at the ceremony, and he emphasized the significance of this cooperative agreement.
This strategic partnership aims to offer young B.Tech, M.Tech, and PhD students opportunities as trainees, providing them with valuable field experience. It also seeks to enhance campus placement prospects, expand the institute’s outreach activities, boost research and development initiatives, and facilitate the development of high-value projects in the nation’s interest.
Professor JK Pattanayak, Director of IIT (ISM), highlighted the significance of this MoU, emphasizing its potential to contribute to the synergy between academia and industry. He also mentioned the institute’s national and international initiatives in this context.
Before the formal signing of the MoU, a comprehensive presentation on Voyants Solutions Private Limited (VSPL) was delivered by Rajkumar Singh, Head of Environmental Studies, and Tilwankar, Advisor, and Principal Consultant.
The presentation took place in the presence of Professor Dheeraj Kumar, Deputy Director of IIT-ISM, Professor Rajni Singh, Dean of Corporate Communications; Professor Sagar Pal, Dean of Research and Development, and Professor Anshumali, Head of the Environmental Science Engineering Department of the institute.
