RNS: A New York judge has ruled that former US President Donald Trump and the Trump Organisation must pay nearly 355 million USD in a civil fraud case.
The judgement also includes sanctions against Trump and his sons, Donald Trump Jr. and Eric Trump.
The 90-page judgement, delivered on Friday, imposes a three-year ban on Trump serving as a company director in New York State.
Additionally, both Donald Trump Jr. and Eric Trump have been fined $4 million each and are prohibited from acting as directors for two years.
This ruling follows a trial in January where Trump and his sons were found liable for unlawfully inflating the value of their properties by hundreds of millions of dollars. Despite the verdict, Trump and his sons maintain their innocence, denying any wrongdoing.
