RNS: In a scathing attack on Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar, Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) leader Tejashwi Yadav criticized the CM for his alliance with the BJP and alleged failures during his tenure.
Criticizing Nitish Kumar’s tenure, he claimed “it was marred by fear and incompetence.”
Tejashwai was addressing a public gathering at Gandhi Maidan as a part of his “Jan Vishwas Yatra” in Gaya, in Bihar. Accompanied by leaders of various parties from the Grand Alliance, including Congress leader and former minister Awadhesh Singh, RJD MLA Surendra Yadav, Mayor Ganesh Paswan, and others, Tejashwi highlighted what he described as Nitish Kumar’s failures over the past 17 months.
Tejashwi asserted that his actions had unnerved Nitish Kumar, causing him to lose confidence. He pledged to work for the people if elected, promising increased development, job creation, better education, and healthcare facilities.
Referencing his unfulfilled promise of providing 10 lakh government jobs made during the 2020 elections, Tejashwi blamed his defeat on alleged cheating, citing instances where RJD candidates lost by slim margins.
Tejashwi Yadav also criticized Nitish Kumar for allegedly obstructing the distribution of 5 lakh appointment letters in the last 17 months, suggesting that Nitish feared Tejashwi would take credit for the jobs.
Taking a swipe at Nitish Kumar’s upcoming rally in Patna on March 3, Tejashwi declared that the event would mark the beginning of the end for Nitish and the BJP.
Following his rally in Gaya, Tejashwi left for Nawada as part of his Jan Vishwas Yatra, with RJD leaders.
