Jharkhand Artist Roshan Mishra Shines at Ramotsav National Painter Camp in Ayodhya

RNS: Roshan Mishra, a talented painter from Jharkhand, represented the state at the Ramotsav National Painter Camp held in Ayodhya, where he showcased his remarkable artistic skills.

Hailing from Tundi block in Dhanbad district, Mishra has garnered recognition for his contributions to the field of art and currently serves as an art teacher at Delhi Public School, Bokaro.

The national camp, held from March 16 to March 22, 2024, saw the participation of 51 artists from across the country. Mishra, the sole representative from Jharkhand, created two paintings during the event, both depicting Lord Shri Ram and his family. His paintings received widespread acclaim for their lifelike portrayal, evoking emotions among the audience.

Mishra’s artwork depicted a different aspect of Lord Ram’s life, showcasing his desire for a peaceful and happy family life, a departure from the traditional portrayal of his struggles.

This unique interpretation resonated with viewers, highlighting Mishra’s talent for capturing emotional depth in his art.

Both of Mishra’s paintings have been included in the collection of the State Lalit Kala Academy, further solidifying his reputation as a gifted artist representing Jharkhand on the national stage.
