J&K: In response to the recent terrorist attack in Reasi, the Jammu Police Department has released a sketch of the suspected terrorist and announced a reward of Rs 20 lakh for any information leading to the capture of those responsible. On Sunday, a bus carrying pilgrims returning from Shiv Khodi in Reasi, Jammu and Kashmir, was ambushed by terrorists who opened indiscriminate fire. The attack resulted in the deaths of nine devotees and injuries to over 41 others. Following the shooting of the driver, the bus veered off the road and plunged into a ditch.
The Jammu Police Department has mobilized all available resources in a large-scale operation to track down the terrorists.
The campaign involves multiple security teams, including the police, army, and CRPF, working in coordinated efforts. Eleven teams are currently combing the forests, and drones are being used for aerial surveillance to monitor the situation closely.
