Bokaro: Delhi Public School (DPS) Bokaro marked its 38th Foundation Day with a grand celebration, praised by Jharkhand DGP Ajay Kumar Singh for its significant role in educational development and nation-building.
Singh highlighted the school’s 38-year legacy of excellence, noting its contributions to Bokaro’s status as Jharkhand’s educational capital and its success in nurturing top-performing students who excel both nationally and internationally.
Key dignitaries present included IG Michael Raj S., DIG Surendra Kumar Jha, and SP Pujya Prakash, who joined in the festivities. DGP Singh commended the school’s efforts in fostering a well-educated and safe environment and urged students to use social media responsibly.
Principal Dr. A.S. Gangwar welcomed guests and highlighted the school’s achievements, encouraging students to stay focused on their goals and respect their parents. The event featured cultural performances by students, including songs, dances, and a cake-cutting ceremony.
The celebration honored 409 students with 100 per cent attendance and 40 winners of the Aryabhatta Mathematics Competition, along with students from the Deepansh Shiksha Kendra, who received school uniforms. DGP Singh congratulated the awardees and wished them future success.
The event also saw the release of the “DPS Bokaro Career Avenue” career guide, a comprehensive resource for students. The celebration concluded with a vote of thanks and the national anthem, creating a festive atmosphere on the decorated campus.
