Bokaro: Students from class LKG to class II at DAV Public School Sector-6, Bokaro, celebrated Yellow Day with great enthusiasm on Friday.
The event commenced with the lighting of lamps and the chanting of Vedic mantras. On this vibrant occasion, all teachers and students donned yellow attire, symbolizing happiness, joy, and energy.
Children showcased their creativity by making various yellow fruits, flowers, and vegetables. Some students wore masks of fruits like mangoes and bananas, bringing the celebration to life.
Principal Anuradha Singh praised the children’s talents and highlighted the significance of the color yellow in eliminating negative thoughts and transmitting energy. She emphasized that the purpose of this program was to help children understand and appreciate colors.
Singh also expressed her gratitude to the teachers and parents for organizing the event.
From classes Balvatika I, II, and III, the following students participated: Adhiraj Singh Solanki, Bhavit Jha, Abhinandan Singha, Rohan Raj, Shrishti, Sushmita, Vanshika, Nikhil, Vivek, Mevan, Vidyanshu, Ansh, Raunak, Dixit, Rajveer, Palak, Harsh, Dishant, Sahil, Ronit, Ridhima, Rihan, Shreya Tigga, Shivansh, Shanvi Mishra, Sonam Kumari, Shreyas Kumar, Shrishaili, Ved, Yug, Trisha, Aradhana, Yuvan, Saksham, Pihu, Shivaay, Shivanjay, Aafia, Rashmirekha, Divyansh, and Yuvan.
Teacher Bhavana Ghale guided the children in performing as fruits to the tune of music, while Teacher Sonia presented a group dance featuring the students. Teacher Ruby Yadav educated the children on the growth and usefulness of fruits, flowers, and vegetables. The children also created pictures of yellow fruits on chart paper and recited poems.
The event saw the active participation of teachers Mamta Kumari, Vibha Jha, Saroj Singh, and Neelam Jha, who all contributed to the success of the Yellow Day celebration.
