Bokaro: Bokaro witnessed a heartwarming scene as Deepansh Shiksha Kendra, an initiative by DPS Bokaro catering to marginalized children, distributed books, stationery kits, and school bags to its young learners. The distribution took place during the school’s First Assembly, overseen by Principal Dr. A.S. Gangwar. Children, overwhelmed with happiness, eagerly received the gifts.
During his address to the students, Dr. Gangwar emphasized the values of hard work, respect for elders, and maintaining good health. He encouraged the students to engage in regular yoga, perform good deeds, and always extend a helping hand to others. “Failure should not dishearten you; instead, learn from it. Each child possesses unique talents and should refrain from comparisons with others,” he advised.
The assembly commenced with ‘Ganesh Vandana’ performed by Aakriti of Class VI, followed by an inspiring rendition of ‘Aage-Aage Badhana Hai To Himmat Haare Mat Baitho’ by fifth graders.
Divyanshu from Class II captivated everyone with a melodious recitation of the Shiv Tandav Stotra, earning widespread applause. Additionally, fourth graders recited the poem ‘Badal’, showcasing their talent and confidence.
Recognizing outstanding attendance, Principal Gangwar awarded certificates and medals to students achieving perfect attendance.
Dr. Sarita Gangwar, overseeing ‘Deepansh’, highlighted DPS Bokaro’s commitment over two decades in educating underprivileged children, integrating them into society through quality education and co-curricular activities.
Under the motto “humanity above all” and the belief in universal access to quality education, DPS Bokaro’s ‘Deepansh’ initiative continues to provide free education to more than 350 underprivileged children, nurturing holistic development from grades one through seven.
