Ranchi: Hemant Soren government has expanded its cabinet on Monday after winning the trust vote, now comprising 12 ministers instead of the previous 11.
This expansion introduces three new faces into the Hemant cabinet: Congress leaders Deepika Pandey Singh and Irfan Ansari, along with Baidyanath Ram from JMM.
The composition of the cabinet is: JMM – Champai Soren, Baidyanath Ram, Baby Devi, Mithilesh Thakur, Hafizul Hasan, Deepak Birua
Congress – Banna Gupta, Rameshwar Oraon, Irfan Ansari, Deepika Pandey Singh
RJD – Satyanand Bhokta
In a restructuring move, Congress has replaced minister Badal Patralekh with Deepika Pandey Singh. Additionally, Irfan Ansari replaces former minister Alamgir Alam.
JMM has included Baidyanath Ram this time, who returns to the cabinet after being sidelined previously by Champai Soren.
Notably, Hemant Soren’s younger brother Basant Soren has not been included in this cabinet reshuffle.
With these changes, Hemant Soren’s government now comprises a total of 12 ministers, poised to address the state’s challenges and drive its developmental agenda forward.
