Bokaro Embraces Cinematic Triumph with “CK Ki Prem Kahani” Premiere

Bokaro: The Steel City, Bokaro, renowned for its academic prowess and cultural vibrancy, has now etched its name in the annals of regional cinema with the grand premiere of “CK Ki Prem Kahani.”

Directed and produced by the multifaceted Dr. CK Thakur, the Bhojpuri film debuted amidst much fanfare at the prestigious PVR cinema in Bokaro Mall, Sector 3 at Bokaro Steel City.

Running from July 12th to 18th, the film has captivated audiences with its heartfelt portrayal of familial bonds and patriotic fervor.

Dr. CK Thakur, a prominent figure in arts, music, and politics, expressed his elation at the overwhelming reception, emphasizing the film’s commitment to showcasing local talent.

Filmed across the picturesque landscapes of Bokaro, Ranchi, and other locales in Jharkhand, “CK Ki Prem Kahani” seeks to rejuvenate the state’s film industry, particularly in Bokaro.

Overcoming setbacks induced by the Covid-19 pandemic, which halted production for two years after its inception in 2019, the film has emerged as a testament to resilience and creativity.

Produced under the banner of Aryan Infra Movie, the film boasts a diverse cast including CK Thakur himself, actress Anusha Sharma, and antagonist Durga Das Jha, alongside talented local artists in pivotal roles. Co-written by Chandra Kishore Thakur and Sanjay Kumar Singh, the three-hour saga features a captivating soundtrack crafted by music director Suresh Anand, featuring vocals from renowned singers such as Udit Narayan and Alka Yagnik.

Audiences at the Bokaro Mall PVR, including notable figures like Vijay Kumar Jha, Raman Chaudhary, and Ashutosh Rai, lauded the film for its wholesome entertainment and the stellar performances of local actors. Raman Chaudhary emphasized the cultural significance of producing high-quality cinema in Bokaro, underscoring the film’s impact on regional pride.

Lead actor Dr. CK Thakur and antagonist Durga Das Jha expressed their joy at the enthusiastic response from audiences, describing the film’s success as a significant milestone for Bokaro’s burgeoning film industry.
