RNS: Bokaro witnessed vibrant celebrations of Guru Purnima on Sunday, as devotees of Nikhil Pardeshwar Mahadev temple in Sector-12D came together to honor the sacred bond between Guru and disciple. Organized by Siddhashram Sadhak Parivar (Nikhil Mantra Vigyan), the festival saw participation from Nikhil disciples across Bokaro and its sub-city Chas, who gathered with deep reverence and devotion.
The day began early with Sadhaks preparing for the Puja rituals under the spiritual guidance of Paramhansa Swami Nikhileshwaranandji Maharaj (Dr. Narayan Dutt Shrimali) and Mata Bhagwati, following the methods taught by Gurudev Shri Nandkishore Shrimali.
The ceremonies commenced with Ganpati Pujan, followed by the traditional Guru Paduka Pujan and chanting of Guru Mantras. As evening approached, devotees united in performing Vedic mantras during the Havan, offering prayers for global peace.
The atmosphere reverberated with chants of “Jai Gurudev” and “Har-Har Mahadev” as Guru Aarti, Shiv Aarti, and Samarpan Stuti marked the culmination of the rituals, culminating in the distribution of Mahaprasad that enhanced the spiritual unity of the gathering.
Speaking on the significance of Guru Purnima, PN Pandey, the Bokaro branch president of Siddhashram Sadhak Parivar, underscored the timeless nature of the Guru-disciple relationship, tracing its roots back to the inception of Sanatan Dharma and its foundation in the Vedas.
General Secretary Vijay Kumar Jha emphasized the Guru’s role as the conduit through which divine enlightenment is attained in life, stressing the pivotal role of spiritual guidance.
Among the distinguished attendees were Madan Mohan Agarwal, Dr. PN Singh, Manoj Singh, Subhash Pandit, Chandra Prabhavati Devi, Bhola Singh, Shanti Devi, Rekha Devi, Suresh Kumar, Jyoti Kumari, Bhim, Lalita Devi, Geeta Devi, who joined in the festivities, marking the occasion with collective devotion and spiritual camaraderie.
