Tree Plantation Essential for Nature Conservation: DSP

Bokaro: The Bokaro Kalakar Sangh organised a tree plantation program at the premises of SS Vatika Chira Chas on Sunday. The event saw the participation of several distinguished guests, including Bokaro Headquarters DSP Animesh Gupta, litterateur and retired supply officer Venkatesh Sharma, senior tabla player Pt. Bachchanji Maharaj, Association President Jagdish Babla, Vice President Ranju Singh, Secretary Manbodh Mishra, Deputy Secretary Ashok Babla, Media Incharge Arun Pathak, and delegation members Sanjeev Singh, Shashi Kant Sharma, Kasturi Sinha, Shankar Prasad, Kanhaiya Verma, Pramod Kumar, Pran Mohan Singh, Sunil, Sanghmita Singh, Arup Rakshit, Purnendu Kumar Singh and Rajesh Chaudhary.

DSP Animesh Gupta praised the Bokaro Artists Association for organizing the event, emphasizing the critical need for tree plantation to protect the environment. He highlighted the importance of individual responsibility in environmental conservation, stating, “If every person plants one tree, then the environment can be protected.” Gupta expressed his hope that the Bokaro Artists Association would continue its active involvement in promoting the interests of artists and environmental awareness.

Special guest Venkatesh Sharma stressed the collective responsibility to protect nature, calling the program exemplary and praiseworthy. Pt. Bachchanji Maharaj described the event as inspirational for everyone. Association President Jagdish Babla noted the joy that natural beauty brings to both artists and the general public, underscoring the need to protect the green environment. Vice President Ranju Singh, poetess Sanghmita Singh, and Kasturi Sinha also shared their views.

The event featured musical performances by Arup Rakshit, Arun Pathak, and Pramod Kumar, which delighted the attendees. The program was conducted by Secretary Manbodh Mishra, with Sanjeev Singh delivering the vote of thanks.
