Ranchi: The Indian Institute of Coal Management (IICM) in Ranchi is hosting a two-day marathon training session on July 29 and 30, 2024, aimed at capacity building and knowledge sharing for officers of the Finance Department of Coal India Limited (CIL) and its subsidiaries.
This special training program is part of an ongoing series at IICM focused on enhancing the expertise of finance professionals and updating them on the latest developments in their field.
The program was inaugurated by Pawan Kumar Mishra, Director (Finance) of Central Coalfields Limited, who highlighted the critical importance of capacity building for finance professionals in his inaugural address.
The training is being conducted under the guidance of the Director Finance, Chief Vigilance Officer, and Executive Director Finance of CIL, along with the Executive Director of IICM.
Over the two days, the program will cover various aspects of capacity building, including the Finance Manual of CIL, Goods and Services Tax (GST), and other relevant topics.
