Ranchi: The HRD Department of Central Coalfields Limited (CCL), in partnership with the Vigilance Department, recently conducted a one-day workshop focused on the “Public Premises Act, 1971: Issues and Challenges.”
The event, held at CCL’s headquarters, was attended by key officials and 32 participants from various sectors.
The workshop’s inaugural session featured motivational addresses by Pankaj Kumar, Chief Vigilance Officer of CCL, and SK Jha, General Manager (Land & Revenue) at CCL.
Both speakers underscored the relevance of the Public Premises Act to coal production and encouraged active engagement throughout the workshop. RK Pandey, General Manager (HRD), opened the session by welcoming attendees and emphasizing the significance of the Act in the coal sector.
The final segment of the workshop comprised a panel discussion led by BK Pandey, Panel Advocate for CCL.
During the discussion, participants raised a range of issues related to the implementation of the Act. These concerns were addressed by BK Pandey and RK Pandey, who provided insights and solutions based on their expertise.
The workshop aimed to equip participants with a thorough understanding of the Public Premises Act and the challenges associated with its application in coal production.
