Bokaro: Deepansh Shiksha Kendra, an initiative run by DPS Bokaro for children from marginalized communities, held a special distribution event for its students. The ceremony saw the presentation of books, stationery kits, and school bags to the young learners.
The distribution was led by Principal Dr. A.S. Gangwar, who expressed his delight at the students’ excitement upon receiving their new supplies. Addressing the students, Dr. Gangwar encouraged them to work diligently, show respect to their teachers, parents, and elders, and prioritise their health.
He also urged the children to practice regular yoga, maintain a positive attitude, and assist others whenever possible. “Do not be discouraged by failure; instead, learn from it. Every child has unique talents. Avoid comparisons with others,” he advised.
The event began with a devotional ‘Ganesh Vandana’ performed by Aakriti from Class VI. This was followed by an inspirational song titled ‘Aage-Aage Badhana Hai To Himmat Haare Mat Baitho,’ performed by students of Class V. Divyanshu, a Class II student, received widespread acclaim for his melodious rendition of the Shiv Tandav Stotra. The program continued with a poetic recital of ‘Badal’ by Class IV students, showcasing their confidence and talent.
In recognition of academic excellence, Dr. Gangwar presented certificates and medals to students with perfect attendance.
Dr. Sarita Gangwar, In Charge of Deepansh, highlighted DPS Bokaro’s ongoing commitment to integrating underprivileged children into the mainstream through quality education. “For over two decades, DPS Bokaro has been dedicated to providing holistic development to students from classes one to seven, offering them both education and co-curricular opportunities,” she said.
With its guiding principle that humanity transcends all, DPS Bokaro’s Deepansh initiative continues to offer free education to more than 350 underprivileged children, underscoring the belief that quality education is a fundamental right for everyone.
