Dhanbad: IIT-ISM Open Air Theatre came alive with the glamour of Bollywood on Friday evening as LightsCameraISM, the institute’s official film-making club, hosted FilmFest 2024: The Bollywood Saga Night. The event celebrated the magic of Bollywood, showcasing the stylish, fashionable, and talented side of IIT-ISM students.
The festival was a vibrant display of cinematic excitement and creativity, providing a platform for budding techies to channel their inner Bollywood stars. Students turned up dressed as their favorite fictional characters, from beloved heroes to mythical figures, adding a unique twist to the evening.
Among the highlights were captivating stage performances by students in elaborate costumes, cheered on by enthusiastic classmates and seniors. Participants who impressed the audience with their attire and performances were awarded with a variety of goodies and sashes.
The night also featured a film quiz with three challenging rounds, testing participants’ knowledge of Bollywood movies, characters, and actors. Additionally, the event included a ramp walk where participants showcased their confidence and style.
The evening concluded with an electrifying dance performance by the LightsCameraISM team, leaving the audience in high spirits and marking a successful celebration of Bollywood’s enchanting allure.
