New Delhi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi has announced the arrival of a new member at his residence, 7 Lok Kalyan Marg, in New Delhi. The Prime Minister shared the news via a video posted on X, revealing that the family’s cow, affectionately referred to as ‘Gau Mata,’ has given birth to a calf.
In his post, Modi referenced a saying from Indian scriptures: “Gaav: Sarvasukha Prada,” meaning “The cow is the source of all happiness.” He elaborated, “It is with great joy that I share the auspicious arrival of a new member in the Prime Minister’s residence. The beloved cow has given birth to a calf with a symbol of light on its forehead. Hence, I have named it ‘Deepjyoti.’”
The Prime Minister was seen spending time with the calf, which he described as “adorable” in a follow-up post on X. Modi expressed his delight at welcoming Deepjyoti into the residence, highlighting the significance of the calf’s symbolic name.
