Kanpur: Vishwakarma Jayanti was celebrated with great enthusiasm alongside Budhwa Mangal, showcasing the reverence for Mahavir Bajrangbali. The Panchmukhi Panki Hanuman Mandir, one of the country’s esteemed Hanuman temples, saw an enormous turnout of devotees, with stringent security measures in place to ensure their safety.
On the second day of celebrations, Bhandaras were organized, offering prasad to hundreds of attendees. This community effort was led by social workers Rajiv Sharma and Preeti Sharma, along with their dedicated staff, at the Maa Durga Service Station in Ratan Lal Nagar.
Devotees began lining up from midnight to seek darshan of Panchmukhi Hanuman ji. The temple opened its doors around 12:00 AM, where Mahant Krishna Das and Jitendra Das conducted the Mangala Aarti.
Following this, devotees presented bhog to Mahadev Hanuman ji. The celebrations attracted participants not only from nearby districts but also from various states, reflecting the temple’s prominence in Panki.
To maintain order during the festivities, approximately 500 police officers were deployed, ensuring the safety and security of the large gathering.
