Bokaro: The volleyball team from GGPS Chas has achieved an impressive runner-up position at the CBSE Cluster III Championship, held from September 16 to 19, 2024, at St. Stephens School in Hazaribagh. The tournament featured participation from over 80 teams across Bihar and Jharkhand.
This significant accomplishment reflects the athletic prowess and commitment of the students, as well as the dedication of their coaches. Throughout the tournament, the GGPS Chas team demonstrated exceptional agility and strategic gameplay while competing against some of the region’s top teams.
In the final match, the team faced a tough challenge from the host school. Despite best efforts, GGPS Chas ultimately finished as runners-up, showcasing remarkable determination and sportsmanship that earned them respect from both spectators and opponents; St. Stephens School won the championship.
Tarsem Singh, President of GGES, along with Principal Abhishek Kumar, congratulated the team on their achievement. They praised the guidance of Physical Education Teachers Rajesh Kumar Singh, Vijay Kumar Minz, and Deepak Kumar, whose leadership was instrumental throughout the tournament.
