Gaya: The Bihar Institute of Public Administration and Rural Development (BIPARD) is set to revolutionize governance training through the introduction of three cutting-edge labs. This initiative, part of the “Deep Knowledge and Intelligence Corridor,” aims to modernize policy and governance training in the state.
The first lab will utilize indigenous artificial intelligence technologies to enhance secure data handling and provide analytical tools for better decision-making. This facility will equip officer trainees and government officials with the ability to conduct predictive analysis and optimize governance strategies.
The second lab will offer an immersive learning environment, employing advanced simulation technologies to replicate real-world scenarios. It will feature a repository of short films focused on local case studies, enabling trainees to understand governance issues specific to Bihar through experiential learning.
The third lab is designed as a collaborative space for state officers to engage in policy discussions and decision-making. Equipped with state-of-the-art communication and data-sharing facilities, it aims to foster consensus-building on key governance reforms.
Together, these labs will form the backbone of BIPARD’s initiative, positioning it at the forefront of governance training in India by integrating technology with practical governance challenges.
NITI Aayog CEO BVR Subrahmanyam praised BIPARD’s efforts, highlighting the need for smart governance that balances data-driven decisions with an understanding of the socio-emotional landscape of the population. He noted that Bihar is the first state in India to implement an AI-driven decision support system for governance.
Subrahmanyam expressed optimism that the enhanced governance framework will elevate several Aspirational Blocks and Districts in Bihar to Inspirational status, improving overall service delivery.
