Bokaro: In a vibrant celebration of academic achievement and cultural diversity, DPS Bokaro held its Annual Function and Scholar Badge Felicitation Ceremony, titled ‘NAKSHATRA 2024’, on the school premises today. A total of 365 students honoured with certificates and badges for their outstanding performances during the 2023-2024 academic sessions.
The Chief Guest, Rajan Prasad, Executive Director (HR) and Pro Vice Chairman (Board of Management) DPS Bokaro, praised the students for their accomplishments, highlighting the school’s reputation at both national and international levels. He encouraged students to not only pursue their personal goals but also contribute positively to society and the environment. Priti Sharan served as the special guest for the event.
The ceremony began with a sapling presentation promoting the school’s ‘Go Green’ initiative, followed by the ceremonial lighting of the lamp. The cultural program featured an orchestral performance, a welcome song, a special piece on ‘Devi Aradhana’, and an energetic dance titled ‘Kollattam’. Students from Deepansh Shiksha Kendra, an initiative under DPS Bokaro, were also gifted winter outfits, embodying the school’s motto of ‘Service Before Self’. Additionally, the school conducted a voting pledge to promote electoral awareness among students. The 36th edition of the school’s annual magazine, ‘DIPS Reflection’, was launched during the event.
The Head Girl, Ananya Raj, welcomed guests, while the Head Boy, Kanhaiya Bhardwaj, delivered the vote of thanks. The program was compered by students Parth, Swara, Prishu, and Gracy.
Principal Dr. A.S. Gangwar congratulated the award recipients and urged them to strive for excellence with passion, dedication, and resilience. He emphasized the importance of compassion and integrity among future leaders.
