Gaya: As the Bihar assembly by-elections approach, all political parties are ramping up their efforts. The growing popularity of Jan Suraj, led by architect Prashant Kishore, has reportedly unsettled the opposition, prompting a flurry of allegations and counter-allegations.
Union Minister Jitan Ram Manjhi has voiced concerns over Jan Suraj’s rise, making what Jan Suraj candidate Dr. Jitendra Paswan termed “baseless allegations” against Kishore. In response, Dr. Paswan stated that such remarks reflect Manjhi’s frustration and warned of potential legal action if an apology is not issued.
Dr. Paswan categorically dismissed the allegations as misleading and focused on his campaign. He conducted a padyatra in Dumariya on Saturday, engaging with the local community and emphasizing his two-decade commitment to serving the poor.
During the padyatra, Dr. Paswan, accompanied by Jan Suraj leaders and panchayat representatives, interacted with residents to understand their concerns and pledged his support. He expressed his determination to ensure Jan Suraj reaches every neighborhood, listening to the problems of all citizens. The march saw participation from numerous local leaders, including Bigan Paswan, Kishore Kumar Munna, and others.
