“Festival de CCL” Launches Vigilance Awareness Week 2024

Ranchi: As part of Vigilance Awareness Week 2024, the “Festival de CCL” was inaugurated today, running from October 28 to 30 October. The event began with a ceremonial oath of integrity administered by Chief Guest CMD CCL Nilendu Kumar Singh, attended by CCL’s Director of Finance, Director of Technical Operations, Chief Vigilance Officer, and numerous employees.

CVO Pankaj Kumar highlighted the significance of vigilance and honesty, stressing this year’s theme: “Progress of the Nation with the Culture of Integrity.” He emphasized that integrity is vital for the advancement of both the organization and the country.

CMD CCL Nilendu Kumar Singh reinforced this message, declaring CCL’s commitment to energy security through honest practices. The festivities included the launch of an e-Pledge Booth and a drone inauguration of the Vigilance Awareness Week. A “Vigilance Awareness Rath” was also flagged off to promote anti-corruption awareness across various locations.

The festival featured live painting by artists focusing on themes of integrity and anti-corruption, as well as a large Vigilance Awareness Rally promoting a corruption-free India. Cultural programs showcased tribal dances, Ganesh Vandana, and a street play on corruption prevention, captivating the audience.

Competitions included a “Street Painting” contest with students creating artworks on “Say No to Corruption” and “Promote Honesty,” as well as a Rangoli competition that delighted attendees with vibrant designs. A solo dance competition based on patriotism and social messages further entertained the crowd, accompanied by a dynamic group band performance.

The Vigilance Festival aims to inspire values of integrity, honesty, and vigilance, fostering awareness among CCL employees and visitors alike.
