Country will not compromise even an inch of land at borders: PM

Kutch: Prime Minister Narendra Modi marked the Diwali festival on Thursday by celebrating with soldiers in the Kutch district of Gujarat.

Modi visited Lakki Nala, where he exchanged sweets with personnel from the Border Security Force (BSF), Indian Army, and Air Force. This tradition of celebrating Diwali with armed forces personnel has been a hallmark of Modi’s leadership since he assumed office in 2014.

During the event, the Prime Minister reaffirmed the government’s commitment to national security, stating, “Today the country has a government that will not compromise even an inch of land at the borders.” He emphasized that the government’s policies are closely aligned with the resolve of the armed forces.

In his address, Modi praised the courage and determination of the soldiers, highlighting their ability to perform under challenging conditions. He noted that security personnel are stationed in some of the most inhospitable environments, including the extreme temperatures and rugged terrain of Kutch’s Creek Area.

“Serving the motherland is a privileged opportunity,” Modi remarked, reflecting on the dedication of the armed forces. He also visited one of the floating Border Out Posts (BOPs) in the Creek Area, where he continued the celebration by sharing sweets with the security personnel.

Since 2014, Modi has consistently chosen to celebrate Diwali with soldiers stationed in various regions across the country, reinforcing his support for India’s armed forces.
