Bokaro: Dr. A.S. Gangwar, the Principal of Delhi Public School (DPS) Bokaro, has been awarded the prestigious Best Educational Leadership Award by the Center for Educational Development (CED) India Foundation. The award, presented in the ‘School Changemaker’ category, recognizes Dr. Gangwar’s exceptional contribution to education over the past 35 years.
The ceremony took place at the Aatmanirbhar Digital India Summit 2024 in New Delhi, where Dr. Gangwar was lauded for his transformative leadership in the field of education. The event was organized by the CED India Foundation, an organization affiliated with the Ministry of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSME) and NITI Aayog, Government of India.
Dr. Gangwar received the award from Dayashankar Mishra ‘Dayalu’, the Minister of State for AYUSH and Food Safety in Uttar Pradesh, who acknowledged his remarkable efforts in shaping the educational landscape at DPS Bokaro.
The summit was attended by several distinguished personalities, including Dr. Priyadarshi Nayak, Chairman of CED India, Kulbhushan Sharma, President of the National Independent School Association (NISA), and Dr. Sandeep Marwah, Founder of the Asian Academy of Film and Television. Officials from Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan (KVS) were also present.
In response to the recognition, Dr. Gangwar expressed his gratitude and dedicated the award to the entire team at DPS Bokaro. “This honor reflects the dedication, hard work, and consistency of our entire school family,” he said, highlighting the importance of collaboration and teamwork in achieving educational excellence.
Back at DPS Bokaro, Dr. Gangwar’s achievement was celebrated with enthusiasm during a special assembly held on Wednesday. Vice Principal Anjani Bhushan, along with staff members Manisha Sharma and Shalini Sharma, presented a symbolic recognition to Dr. Gangwar, earning applause from students and faculty in the school’s Ashwaghosh Kala Kshetra.
With over 35 years of service in education, Dr. Gangwar’s leadership continues to inspire the DPS Bokaro community, focusing not only on academic excellence but also on the holistic development of students.
