Gaya: The Central University of South Bihar (CUSB) has once again demonstrated its academic excellence, with 16 students from the School of Law and Governance (SLG) successfully clearing the 32nd Bihar Judicial Services Examination – 2023. The students, who cracked the prestigious examination conducted by the Bihar Public Service Commission (BPSC), include Sankalp Raj, Sandhya Rani, Jayshree Choudhary, Kumari Monika, Saurabh Priyadarshi, Ankit Kumar, Md. Shams Raza, Kumari Manibha, Vishnu Manjari, Rahul Abhishek, Manish Kumar, Sumedha Chaturvedi, Anshu Rani, Akansha Kumari, and Prashant Kumar.
CUSB Vice-Chancellor, Prof. Kameshwar Nath Singh, expressed immense pride in the students’ achievement, congratulating them on their success. He also commended the faculty and leadership of the Law department for their continued mentorship and support.
In a similar vein, the Registrar, Prof. Narendra Kumar Rana, DSW, Prof. Pawan Kumar Mishra, and other faculty members across departments also shared their congratulations, highlighting the significance of this achievement.
Prof. Sanjay Prakash Srivastava, Head and Dean of SLG, praised the students for their exceptional performance and contribution to the university’s reputation. Faculty members including Prof. Ashok Kumar, Prof. Pradeep Kumar Das, and Dr. Surendra Kumar also congratulated the successful students, acknowledging their hard work and dedication.
The CUSB Law department has consistently been one of the top performers at the university, with students excelling not only in judicial exams but also in securing placements at reputed law firms and obtaining international fellowships for higher studies.
In line with its commitment to meet the demands of the competitive global market, the university has launched a Five-year BBA LLB programme this academic year, which has garnered positive response from prospective students.
The remarkable success of these 16 students reflects the high academic standards and effective mentorship at CUSB, making it a leading institution in law education.
