Sindri: BIT Sindri hosted the inauguration of BITCON 2024, the prestigious IEEE Flagship International Conference, bringing together academicians, researchers, and students worldwide. The ceremony began with the lighting of the ceremonial lamp and the National Anthem, setting a patriotic tone.
The event was graced by key dignitaries, including Prof. Sukumar Mishra, Director of IIT ISM Dhanbad, who delivered the keynote address on cutting-edge research and sustainable innovation. Dr. D.K. Singh, Vice Chancellor of Jharkhand University of Technology, and Priyankar Saxena, Project Director of KTMP, were also honored.
In his address, Prof. Pankaj Rai, Director of BIT Sindri, highlighted the institution’s commitment to innovation and industry-academia collaboration. The conference, focused on “Next Generation Applications in Green Energy Technology,” serves as a platform for global experts to discuss advancements in engineering and technology, reinforcing BIT Sindri’s reputation as a leader in education and research.
