Ranchi: Central Coalfields Limited (CCL) has marked a significant milestone in enhancing healthcare access for the people of Jharkhand with the signing of a historic tripartite Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to establish a state-of-the-art 200-bed Super Specialty Hospital in Ranchi. The MoU, signed in collaboration with Babasaheb Ambedkar Vaidya Pratishthan (BAVP) and Dhanvantari Arogya Seva Sansthan (DASS), is poised to revolutionize healthcare services in the region.
The MoU signing ceremony took place at CCL Headquarters in Darbhanga House, Ranchi, and was attended by CCL’s Chairman-cum-Managing Director (CMD), Shri Nilendu Kumar Singh. The new facility will feature specialized departments in cardiology, pulmonology, and neurology, providing comprehensive medical care for a wide range of health conditions.
In his address during the ceremony, Shri Singh emphasized that the hospital would not only provide top-tier medical services but also ensure they are affordable and accessible to all sections of society. “Our mission extends beyond coal production. We are deeply committed to the welfare of Jharkhand’s people, and this super specialty hospital is a major step toward improving the healthcare landscape in the state,” he said.
The facility will be equipped with cutting-edge medical technology and staffed by highly trained healthcare professionals. By combining modern medical infrastructure with cost-effective treatments, the hospital is expected to address the pressing need for specialized care in Jharkhand, alleviating the burden on existing healthcare systems.
This ambitious project is part of CCL’s broader commitment to the socio-economic development of the region. Over the years, the company has undertaken several initiatives aimed at improving education, healthcare, infrastructure, and employment opportunities for the people of Jharkhand.
The partnership with BAVP and DASS ensures the hospital will uphold the highest standards of healthcare delivery. BAVP, based in Sambhajinagar, Maharashtra, is known for its work in providing healthcare to underserved communities, while DASS brings expertise in managing medical institutions.
Attending the event were CCL Directors Pawan Kumar Mishra (Finance) and Harsh Nath Mishra (Personnel), as well as senior representatives from BAVP, DASS, and Sevankur Bharat, a group of medical professionals. Their collaborative efforts are expected to set a new benchmark for healthcare in Jharkhand.
This new Super Specialty Hospital will play a pivotal role in meeting the growing demand for advanced medical services in the state, offering a lifeline to thousands of residents seeking affordable, high-quality healthcare. It stands as a testament to CCL’s ongoing dedication to corporate social responsibility and its broader mission of contributing to the development of Jharkhand.
With the leadership of Nilendu Kumar Singh, CCL continues to set an example for industry and social responsibility, advancing both industrial excellence and community welfare across the region.
