Bokaro: A district-level recitation competition was held on Sunday at the Sri Ramakrishna Vivekananda Sangh auditorium in Sector 1B, Bokaro, under the joint aegis of the Sri Ramakrishna Vivekananda Sangh, Bokaro, and the Ramakrishna Mission Ashram, Morabadi, Ranchi. The event was part of the ‘Naya Bharat Gadho’ program, which saw children from various schools recite the Swadesh Mantra, composed by Swami Vivekananda.
In Group A, Akanksha Mishra of Guru Govind Singh Public School, Bokaro, secured the first place with an outstanding performance. Ritesh Kumar and Kamya Jha jointly placed second, while Mahi Priyadarshi took third place. In Group B, Om Mishra from Mithila Academy Public School, Bokaro, won first place, followed by Vaishnavi Mishra in second and Adrika from Guru Govind Singh Public School in third. Kshitij claimed the fourth position in this group.
The competition was judged by Kranti Srivastava and Sharvani Mukherjee. The winners were presented with awards by Gopal Munshi, President of Sri Ramakrishna Vivekananda Sangh, Bokaro, and Secretary Pranav Mitra. The judges were also honored with gifts for their contributions.
Congratulating the winners, President Gopal Munshi wished them success in the next stage of the competition. Secretary Pranav Mitra expressed gratitude to all participants and organizers, and encouraged devotees to attend the program scheduled for Ma Sarada’s birth anniversary on Sunday, December 22.
The event was also attended by several notable figures, including Sameer Paitandi, Mrinal Chakraborty, Kaveri Guha, Nandlal Sarkar, Prashant Kumar Jha, Arun Pathak, Sanjay Pathak, Mahesh Kumar Lal, Naveen Mishra, Swati Mitra, Ajit Kundu, Bholanath Mahato, Rohit Kumar, Sanjay, and Shiva.
