Hollywood Film “Mahayogi” Film Promotes Peace, Releases on 13 December

Mumbai: The upcoming Hollywood film Mahayogi, which conveys a powerful message of peace and the need to end wars, will be released in theaters on December 13. The film, which encourages humanity to embrace love and mutual understanding, portrays the destructive nature of war and the importance of global unity.

A press conference for the film was held in Mumbai, where Rakesh Sabharwal from Prince Movies, the film’s all-India distributor, and Narendra Sharma of Triloc Films Inc, USA, shared details about the film. Sabharwal clarified that despite the title, Mahayogi is not a spiritual film, but rather a portrayal of Shiva, who symbolizes the divine essence within every human being. The central character in the film is based on Shiva, embodying the message of universal love and peace.

The 104-minute film will be dubbed and released in several languages, including Hindi and Telugu. The Hindi version is slated for release on February 14, 2025. Initially, the film faced delays in obtaining a censor certificate, with the first attempt being rejected. After several cuts and revisions, it was finally approved after five and a half months.

The film’s storyline reflects on the chaos and violence in the world, with a particular focus on the impact of religion, politics, casteism, and racial discrimination. It portrays how the world is engulfed in conflict, with neighboring countries on the brink of war. The film suggests that humanity must wake up and abandon internal and external divisions, choosing instead to walk the path of love and peace. It conveys that only through collective harmony can the end of Kalyug (the age of darkness) and the dawn of Satyug (the age of truth) occur.

Producer-director Rajan Luthra, who wrote and directed Mahayogi, uses the film to communicate God’s message of love and unity, filmed at scenic locations in San Francisco, Los Angeles, Haridwar, and Kedarnath. The film urges viewers to recognize that true divinity lies in love and mutual harmony, not in division or conflict.
