Vedic Consciousness Camp Inaugurated at DAV Public School, Sector 6

Bokaro: A two-day “Vedic Consciousness Camp” was inaugurated today at DAV Public School, Sector 6, Bokaro, with teachers, students, and parents actively participating in the program.

The event was inaugurated by Ashok Kumar Pathak, Principal of Mithila Academy Public School, Bipul Kumar Singh of Rainbow Public School, Brahmadev Prasad, Member of the Local Managing Committee (LMC), and the Principal of the school, Anuradha Singh.

The camp featured a special ‘Panchkundiya Havan’ Yagya, conducted by Sanskrit Acharya Balshekhar Jha and NK Shastri from DAV 4, following the principle of ‘Yagno Vai Shrestha Tamam Karma.’

The event also included an inter-house presentation of the life stories of renowned figures like Maharishi Dayanand Saraswati, Swami Vivekanand, Mahatma Hans Raj, and Swami Shraddhanand through a dance drama.

Additionally, a Vedic Sandhya Bhajan was performed by school teacher Jhuma Chakraborty, which was highly appreciated by the audience.

In her address, Principal Mrs. Anuradha Singh emphasized the importance of Vedic studies in understanding Indian culture and civilization, encouraging students to study the Vedas daily.

She highlighted that the Vedas are not limited to any one religion but have been a source of inspiration for humanity for centuries. Mrs. Singh also praised the participants and spoke about the ideals of great leaders that students should adopt in their lives.

The event was attended by teachers, staff, and parents, all of whom praised the initiative and expressed their enthusiasm for such programs.
