BSPS to Push for National Media Policy, Plans National Conference in Ranchi

Bokaro: Bharti Shramjeevi Patrakar Sangh (BSPS), announced today that BSPS, in collaboration with the Press Club of India, is working towards initiating delegation-level talks with the central government to create a national media policy.

Sanjay Singh, National President of Bharti Shramjeevi Patrakar Sangh (BSPS) said that, the proposed policy aims to establish a uniform framework in the interest of journalists across the country.

Expressing concern over the poor condition of journalists in smaller towns, Singh emphasized the need for government intervention to support journalists, including providing housing at the district level through a cooperative for journalists.

Sanjay Singh was in Bokaro to console the family of BSPS General Secretary Jitendra Pandey following the death of his mother. Upon his arrival, he was welcomed by local journalists at Hotel Hilltop, led by Santosh Pathak, National Secretary and Jharkhand In-charge of BSPS.

During the visit, a detailed discussion was held regarding the upcoming National Maha Sammelan of BSPS, which is scheduled to take place in Ranchi this March. Several prominent BSPS members, including Jitendra Pandey, Dr. Sanghmita Singh, Nirmal Maharaj, Ashish Sinha, Ravi Verma, Omkar Tiwari, and Arvind Kumar, were present for the meeting.
