Bokaro: Vedanta ESL Skill School, in partnership with SEEDS, marked a significant milestone with the felicitation of its first batch of trainees under the Food & Beverage Service Steward program.
Sponsored by NABARD, the ceremony celebrated the achievements of 30 young trainees, reinforcing the school’s mission to empower youth with valuable employment opportunities.
The event, which took place in Siyaljori village, was attended by distinguished guests including Philmon Bilung, DDM NABARD, Santosh Rawani, Mukhiya, Siyaljori, Kunal Daripa, Head CSR, ESL, and Birendra Kumar, Operation Head, Learnet SEEDS. The ceremony served as an inspiration for aspiring trainees in the region.
Kunal Daripa, Head of CSR at ESL, expressed pride in the achievements of the first batch, stating, “We are delighted to celebrate the success of our first batch, with many trainees now placed in prestigious organizations like DHPL Ramoji Film City, Hyderabad. At Vedanta ESL Skill School, we don’t just provide employment; we equip our trainees with practical skills and soft skills to enhance their employability. We are excited to see them excel in the hospitality sector.”
The Food & Beverage Service Steward program is one of several skill development courses offered by the school, including Solar PV Installation, Sewing Machine Operation, and basic computer knowledge.
These NSDC-certified courses provide industry-standard training and open doors to placement opportunities.
Vedanta ESL Skill School aims to provide sustainable employment to youth, with a focus on skill development and industry placements. In collaboration with SEEDS, the school trains students in various trades, ensuring they are equipped with the knowledge and skills required by employers. The program has achieved notable success, with 25 out of 30 trainees securing placements in reputed companies like DHPL Ramoji Film City, Hyderabad, with annual packages of Rs. 1.9 LPA.
The school’s training model emphasizes both theoretical knowledge and practical expertise, alongside soft skills development, positioning students for success in industries like hospitality, energy, and manufacturing. With a 70% placement rate for trained candidates, Vedanta ESL Skill School continues to make a significant impact on the lives of young people in Jharkhand.
